Questions we hear often

Before you write to us

Which Income-tax Act applies to my return this year?

Returns for income of FY 2025-26 (AY 2026-27) are still filed under the Income-tax Act, 1961. The Income-tax Act, 2025 applies from Tax Year 2026-27, which began on 1 April 2026; the first returns under it will be filed in 2027.

Do I need a tax audit?

A business generally needs one when turnover exceeds ₹1 crore, or ₹10 crore where cash receipts and payments are within 5%. Professionals and presumptive-scheme cases have separate limits. We check your figures and confirm.

Can you work with clients outside Delhi NCR?

Yes. Documents are shared online and filings are made on government portals, so we serve clients across India and NRIs abroad.

I received a notice. How quickly should I respond?

Most notices carry a response window of 7 to 30 days. Send us the notice and the portal login details the same day so we can review it and file a reply or seek more time before the deadline.

What do I need to register for GST?

PAN, Aadhaar, a photograph, proof of business address, bank details and, for firms and companies, the constitution document and authorised signatory details. We send an exact checklist for your entity.
