Privacy policy

This policy explains how eGovTaxIndia (Your Trusted Partner in Taxation & Compliance) (“we”, “us”) handles personal data you share through this website. We process personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and our professional duty to keep client information confidential.

What we collect

• Enquiry form: your name, mobile number, email address, type of entity, the service you need and any details you type.
• WhatsApp, phone and email: whatever you choose to send us through those channels.
• Technical data: your IP address, kept with each enquiry to stop spam and abuse.

Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and quote for the work you ask about.
• To carry out professional engagements you sign up for, including filings on government portals made on your instructions.
• To meet legal, regulatory and professional record-keeping duties.
• We do not sell your data or use it for third-party advertising.

Where it is kept and who sees it

Enquiries are emailed to our office mailbox (info@caworks.in) and stored on our web hosting server in a folder that is not publicly accessible. Only partners and authorised staff can access them. We share data with government departments (for example the GST Network, Income Tax Department or Ministry of Corporate Affairs) only when a filing you have asked us to make requires it, or when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become engagements are deleted within 24 months. Client records are kept for as long as the law and professional standards require.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to show, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or withdraw consent for future contact. Write to info@caworks.in with the subject “Data request”, and we will respond within 30 days.

Cookies and browser storage

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser stores only your light or dark display preference. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads.

Online payments

When you pay online we receive your name, email, mobile number, the GSTIN and state you enter, and the payment ID from Razorpay. Card, UPI and bank details are handled by Razorpay (razorpay.com) under its own privacy policy and are never stored by us.
